A concert dedicated to the work of Evgeny Krylatov will be held in the State Kremlin Palace with the support of the RMS
On June 10, 2022, the State Kremlin Palace will host the Winged Swing of Childhood concert in memory of the famous composer Yevgeny Krylatov. The creative evening, dedicated to the International Children’s Day, will be held with the assistance of the Russian Musical Union, Radio Dacha radio station, Commissioner for Children’s Rights under the President of Russia.
Evgeny Krylatov is one of the most outstanding composers of the 20th century, People’s Artist of Russia, laureate of the State Prizes of the USSR and Russia. For several years he was a member of the Council of the Russian Musical Union. The composer passed away in May 2019.
Evgeny Pavlovich worked in different genres: he created symphonic, chamber, pop music, works for drama theater, radio and television. His work was especially fruitful in animation and cinema. Krylatov wrote music for the cartoons “Umka”, “Santa Claus and Summer” and “Lost and Found”, popular films, including “About Love”, “Property of the Republic”, “Oh, this Nastya!”. He is the author of music for 140 films.
At a concert in the Kremlin Palace, you can hear the compositions of Yevgeny Krylatov, including modern interpretations of long-loved songs. “Forest Deer”, “Alder Earring”, “This is what our summer is like”, “Winged Swing”, ” What progress has come to”, “The clock strikes on the old tower”, “Everyone knows this”, “The riddle of a woman”, “Three white horses”, “Beautiful far away” – these and many other compositions will be performed by popular Russian pop stars.
Among the invited artists are Larisa Dolina, Rinat Ibragimov, Ekaterina Shavrina, Gennady Trofimov, Irina Otieva, Dmitry Kharatyan, Alsou, Daria Antonyuk, Alexander Panayotov, Aziza, Marina Devyatova, Margarita Sukhankina and many other performers. The program will be hosted by Honored Journalist of Russia Diana Berlin and artist Andrey Udalov.
