A reading book on the history of orchestral styles was published with the RMU assistance
The third volume of a Reading Book on the history of orchestral styles was published with the RMU assistance, the volume was dedicated to Russian Soviet symphonic music. Editor-compiler and the author of analytical sketches – kandidat of art history, professor of Saint Petersburg Conservatory, Nikolai Martynov.
The Reading Book contains music sheet samples from scores of the Soviet symphonic music classical authors, as well as monographic sketches, comments, and an article in which basic principles of the Soviet symphonic school are generalized. The edition is intended for a broad circle of musicians, in the first turn, for students and teachers of composers, musicological and conductors departments of musical higher educational institutions, colleges and schools.
