The organizers of the musical show have set such goals as popularizing the art of jazz and introducing the younger generation to professional activities in the field of vocal jazz music.

The best young jazz collectives and performers demonstrated their skills within the framework of the festival. From March 13 to March 15 in the concert halls of the RAM and the Gnesins College, competitive auditions of soloists-vocalists of different age groups and ensembles were held. The festival ended on March 16 with the awarding of the winners and the final master-concert “GNESIN-JAZZ-VOICE – the best!”, in which the winners of the contest and jury members – authoritative jazz performers – took part.
