RMU took part in the European FIM Congress in Belgrade

The XI European Congress of the International Federation of Musicians (FIM), organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia, was held in Belgrade (Serbia) from 4 to 6 November 2016. At the event, the RMU was presented by musicologist, director general of the “PianoForum” magazine, Marina Brokanova.

Participation of the RMU representative in the work of the congress proved to be very useful. During the meetings, FIM leaders expressed interest in Russia’s admission to the organization, as at the moment our country is not represented in the FIM, and asked to convey this wish to the management of the RMU. It was also suggested to include representatives of Russia to the FIM management.
