Release Date Announced for Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony from Musicaeterna and Theodor Currentzis

Due to celebration of 250th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven birth, Sony Classical has announced the release date for the Seventh Symphony. The twin of Theodor Currentzis album and musicAeterna Beethoven Symphony No. 5 will go on sale on April 9, 2021. The two albums, recorded at the Vienna Konzerthaus in August 2018, will be the contribution of Russian musicians to the celebration of the composer’s anniversary.

Theodor Currentzis believes that “the highest form that a symphony has ever achieved” distinguishes the Seventh Symphony. It can be related to the Athenian architectural classics, in which every detail served spiritual beauty. Symphony No. 7 will be released on CD and in digital format on April 9, 2021, as reported by ClassicalMusicNews.
