Museum of Music has opened access to online shows

Russian National Museum of Music, together with the Yandex media service, has opened access to a wide variety of online activities: from thematic playlists to virtual tours.

On the Yandex. The Grand Museum platform the Museum of Music tells the story of the creation of the State Collection of Russian Unique Musical Instruments – the world’s largest national collection of string musical instruments. There you can find out about the special project “Special Purpose Collection”, which reveals the details of the life and work of Stradivarius, Amati, Guarneri, and other masters and allows you to hear how the instruments created by them sound.

The Yandex.Music portal presents thematic playlists of unique archived audio recordings: the operas “Ruslan and Lyudmila” and “Rusalka”, songs of the war years, performances by pianist Van Cliburn and others.

The Museum of Music regularly publishes interesting facts about objects from its funds on the Yandex.Zen platform, and the museum director, member of the Council of Russian Musical Union, Mikhail Bryzgalov, shares fascinating stories about exhibits with listeners of the Expomuzika project, which broadcasts daily on Orpheus radio.
