The RMU GMM ‘InternatMolOt’ molot holds international symphonic seminar-forum after M.K. Oginsky in Belarus

These days in Belarus in Molodechno State Musical College after M.K. Oginsky, events of anniversary V International symphonic seminar-forum after M.K. Oginsky are underway; the seminar-forum is organized by the Guild of Young Musicians of the RMU ‘InternatMolOt’. The Forum started on April 9, and will last till April 9, 2019.

During the ten-day seminar-forum, talented authors from different countries of the Eurasian continent will work with a symphony orchestra, create new scores and communicate with masters invited by the forum. This year, the author’s courses will be conducted by leading modern composers: professor and head of the chair of composition and theory of music of the Performing Arts Academy in Prague Jiří Bezdek (Czech Republic); professor of the Kazan State Conservatory after N. Zhiganov, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation Leonid Lyubovsky (Russia); Chairman and Creative Director of the International Creative Workshops of GMM of the RMU ‘InternatMolOt, the member of the RMU Council, Yaroslav Sudzilovsky (Russia). Among the forum masters are also composers of the Belarus-Russian Association of Contemporary Music – Chairman of the Belarus Society of Contemporary Music Dmitry Lybyn, Anna Korotkina, Alexei Pilatov. The seminars main task is the study of outstanding scores of the latest Russian symphonic music, and familiarizing with the latest developments and composer systems of their colleagues-contemporaries.

A concert dedicated to the anniversary of the seminar-forum in Molodechno was held as part of the forum, at which symphonic scores created by young composers at a seminar within these five years were performed. Awarding of the winners of Composers International Symphonic Competition after M.K. Oginsky took place as well. All participants of the seminar-forum will receive diplomas of participation in the educational program of the International Creative Workshops of GMM ‘InternatMolOt’ of the RMU.
