The RMU MAMKIM ‘InternatMolOt’ has held a Russian-Czech seminar-forum of young composers in Czech Republic

The First Russian-Czech seminar-forum of young composers and music experts organized by International association of young composers, performers and music experts of the RMU composers guild (the RMU MAMKIM ‘InternatMolOt’) has been held in Czechia with the assistance of West-Czech Center for contemporary music and Rossotrudnichestvo office in Czech Republic.

As part of the forum, on May 31, a concert was held in the Concert Hall named after Antonin Dvořák of the House of Music in Plzeň, where the music of young Russian composers was performed. The listeners had the opportunity to get acquainted with several Russian composer schools: Saint Petersburg, Yakut, Moscow and Saratov. The works of contemporary authors were performed by the Czech ‘Jay Quartet’.

The seminar-forum of young composers of Russia and the Czech Republic was held on June 1 at the Plzeň Conservatory. Composer, the head of the RMU MAMKIM InternatMolO, the Chair of the Youths Branch of Russia’s Composers Union Yaroslav Sudzilovsky represented his new compositions and scores by his young colleges – Nastasya Khruscheva, Olga Bochikhina, Artur Zobnin, Nikolai Mikheev, Aleksandr Khubeev, Vladimir Orlov, Laisan Abdullina and other. The meeting participants discussed current issues of the contemporary music development and the problems of European culture. Representatives of the Prague Academy of Musical Art, who took part in the event, expressed concern in cooperating with the with InternatMolOt Association and holding similar events in the capital of the Czech Republic.

Also, within the framework of the forum in Plzen, the opening of West-Czech office of the RMU InternatMolOt took place.
