The RMU MAMKIM ‘InternatMolOt’ took part in BRASM (Belarus-Russian Society of Contemporary Music) creation

On January 29, 2018, at a joint meeting of MAMKIM ‘InternatMolOt’ board members of PMC, the leaders of the Belarus Society of Contemporary Music (BOSM) and representatives of BelarusMolOt, it was decided to establish the Belarus-Russian Association of Contemporary Music (BRASM).

The activities of BRASM, a joint creative organization, will be aimed at creating joint Russian-Belarus projects, promotion of Belarus and Russian composers music belonging to different generations in the territory of Eurasia. Composers of all ages – citizens of Belarus and Russia can become members of this association.

The general meeting elected the head of the MAMKIM ‘InternatMolOt’ of the RMU, Yaroslav Sudzilovsky to be the head of the BRASM.

On the same day, the members of the board of the newly formed association Yaroslav Sudzilovsky, Dmitry Lybin and Anna Korotkina discussed with the First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus Irina Driga the issues of prospective support for projects of BRACM in Belarus.
